Buck Jack, LLC v. TAGM Investments LLC, formerly Amy Shandy SLP LLC, Robert T. Shandy, and Amy L. Shandy, El Paso County District Court case 2023CV30716, is a private dispute over the 2020 sale of Shandy Clinic assets. Buck Jack's April 2023 complaint alleged fraudulent inducement, fraud, breach, and related theories, including alleged nondisclosure of TRICARE audit activity.
The complaint says Health Net Federal Services/TRICARE requested records in February 2020 and later identified billing problems and imposed prepayment review. It further alleges major denied claims and concealment. The complaint cites letters as exhibits, but the retained 21-page PDF does not contain those exhibits.
The Shandys' June 2023 answer expressly denies fraudulent practices. Their counterclaims characterize the records request as a routine post-payment audit, say a buyer-commissioned due-diligence audit found reviewed claims accurate and appropriate, identify an alleged $8,827.33 overpayment determination, and allege that prepayment review ended in February 2021 without a government referral. These are defendants' allegations, not adjudicated findings.
Accordingly, the defensible wording is that Shandy was a defendant in a private civil case containing contested TRICARE-related fraud allegations—not that she committed fraud or was found liable.
