¶ Colorado Times Recorder corpus and publication source cluster, 2026
This source cluster normalizes the retained Colorado Times Recorder publication
and corpus layer before downstream entity or theme synthesis. It summarizes the
publisher's retained About-page capture, the repo's WordPress/API manifests,
the corpus-processing log, and selected retained CTR articles that identify
recurring source authors and publication surfaces.
- The retained About-page capture supports Colorado Times Recorder as a
Colorado political news and opinion publication launched in 2016.
- The About-page capture supports a self-description as nonpartisan with a
progressive orientation and not affiliated with a political party.
- The same capture supports Jason Salzman as editor and founder in the retained
publication self-description.
- The corpus manifests and processing log support the repo-local fact that CTR
has been captured extensively in Atlas Trace’s local research archive.
- The
2026-05-14 WordPress refresh manifest supports a later corpus state of
5,957 exposed WordPress posts and 28 newly captured raw articles from the
newest API page.
- The retained corpus has recurring author/source-author value for Colorado
education politics, Christian-nationalist organizing, campaign finance,
election-denial activity, anti-LGBTQ policy fights, and school-board conflict.
- The retained 2024-review and Fever Swamp Review captures help identify a
recurring source-author and podcast layer involving Heidi/Sean Beedle, Logan
M. Davis, and Suzie Glassman.
- CTR reporting is not primary evidence for every claim it reports.
- Repeated CTR coverage does not itself prove claims that require official
records, campaign-finance rows, court records, board minutes, contracts, or
direct organizational documents.
- The retained publication self-description does not independently establish
ownership history, outside funding, editorial independence, or comprehensive
credibility assessment.
- Corpus scale does not make every CTR article equally relevant to every wiki
theme.
AWARD WINNER republication captures are useful retained article copies, but
the award-post date should not be treated as the original event or reporting
chronology without checking the original article.
Use CTR captures as attributed reporting unless a downstream page has inspected
the underlying records cited by the article. When CTR reporting supplies a
relationship or chronology claim, preserve the evidence label as reported relationship unless the repo has direct underlying documentation.
For source-author pages, distinguish three layers:
- publication identity and role supported by CTR metadata or retained CTR prose
- source-author reporting used by downstream summaries
- biography or external role claims that require separate first-party,
institutional, or independent corroboration
This page is the normalized source-summary layer for Colorado Times Recorder
and part of the source basis for Logan M. Davis, Sean Beedle, and
Suzie Glassman. It does not replace topic-specific source summaries that
inspect individual CTR articles alongside official or nearer-primary records.
The 2026-05-14 refresh is processed separately in
Colorado Times Recorder WordPress refresh, 2026-05-14.
¶ Source access and local retention
Atlas Trace retains research captures and provenance records locally. Public
originals, when available, appear in the Original links section below;
internal archive paths and restricted materials are not public links. See
