OpenFEC supports H6CO05142 as Jeff Crank's federal candidate ID and links that ID to election years 2006, 2008, 2024, and 2026. The current repo is strongest for 2024-2026 aggregate totals and Schedule A receipt-side evidence for the current committee JEFF CRANK FOR CONGRESS (C00865592). The 2006/2008 finance layer is visible in candidate and committee metadata but was not reconstructed at line-item or filing-image depth in this pass.
This summary is a finance-source summary, not a claim of coordination, influence, or improper funding.

The existing entity page also preserves AMERICA'S MOUNTAIN PAC (C00883413) as an associated committee from prior OpenFEC work. This pass did not build a separate entity page or line-item package for that PAC.

The 2026 aggregate returned in this pass includes $758,072.28 in individual contributions, $615,500.00 in other political committee contributions, and $350,346.75 in transfers from other authorized committees.
The refreshed reports endpoint returned 16 reports for C00865592 across 2024-2026, including April Quarterly, July Quarterly, Pre-Primary, Pre-General, Post-General, Year-End, and amended or duplicate receipt-date entries. This is useful for filing chronology, but report rows are not a substitute for filing images or line-item transaction detail.
The earlier CO-05 OpenFEC package for Crank preserved:
- a full retained Schedule A receipt universe for the principal committee;
- a normalized donor/employer layer; and
- a derived donor-comparison summary used by the CO-05 candidate-finance comparison.
The entity page's current OpenFEC layer reports 2,299 Schedule A rows and a filtered non-memo individual comparison subset of 1,403 rows. Those figures are retained from the existing colorado-house-05-2026 package and were not rebuilt in the 2026-04-27 refresh.
¶ Outside-spending and aggregate-check limits
The 2026-04-27 bounded aggregate checks returned zero visible candidate-side rows for:
- Schedule E totals by candidate,
- communication-cost totals, and
- electioneering totals.
This is only a bounded no-row result for the checked candidate-side endpoints. It does not disprove independent spending reported by outside committees, reporting surfaces, or filing-image records. Axios reported that the 2024 primary attracted substantial outside spending, including support by America Leads Action and AFP Action; this pass did not independently reconstruct that outside-spending universe from FEC independent-expenditure line items.
H6CO05142 is the stable OpenFEC candidate ID for Jeff Crank.
- OpenFEC metadata directly connects the candidate ID to the 2006, 2008, 2024, and 2026 election years.
- The current 2024-2026 principal committee is
JEFF CRANK FOR CONGRESS (C00865592).
- The refreshed 2026 aggregate layer reaches
2026-03-31 and shows more cash on hand than the 2024 year-end closing position.
- Existing Schedule A packages support deeper receipt-side analysis for the 2026-cycle comparison layer.
- A complete 2006/2008 finance reconstruction.
- A complete 2024 outside-spending ledger.
- Any claim that PAC money, committee transfers, donor geography, or outside-support reporting proves coordination, control, sponsorship, influence, or intent.
- Any claim about unitemized donor identity, ultimate donors behind independent-expenditure committees, or joint-fundraising transfer mechanics without additional records.
- Retrieve filing images or FEC bulk line items for the older
C00421776 committee if the 2006/2008 campaigns become central.
- Pull independent-expenditure committee data for America Leads Action, AFP Action, and other 2024 CO-05 support / opposition spenders before converting reported outside spending into a direct finance finding.
- Consider materializing
AMERICA'S MOUNTAIN PAC only if leadership-PAC activity becomes relevant to congressional profile, donor network, or 2026-cycle analysis.
