This pass captures a current TRACER bulk-export slice for candidate committees in two jurisdiction buckets: STATEWIDE and EL PASO. The source package is current-statewide-el-paso-candidate-committees-2023-2026, based on available TRACER bulk URLs for 2023 through 2026, with data extracted as of 2026-04-17 02:00.
The slice contains 245,407 transaction rows across 660 candidate committees. It is useful as a broad campaign-finance map, but it should not be treated as a list of currently active candidates because the bulk files do not carry active / terminated status.
The package uses these current bulk URLs:
2023_ContributionData.csv.zip, 2023_ExpenditureData.csv.zip, 2023_LoanData.csv.zip2024_ContributionData.csv.zip, 2024_ExpenditureData.csv.zip, 2024_LoanData.csv.zip2025_ContributionData.csv.zip, 2025_ExpenditureData.csv.zip, 2025_LoanData.csv.zip2026_ContributionData.csv.zip, 2026_ExpenditureData.csv.zip, 2026_LoanData.csv.zipThe filter is exact at the transaction-row level: CommitteeType = Candidate Committee and Jurisdiction in {STATEWIDE, EL PASO}. EL PASO is the county jurisdiction label in the bulk files.

Some high-dollar rows are older-cycle records still present in the currently advertised files. They should not be treated as current race totals without a candidate-detail or filing-history follow-up.
660 committees.Amended=Y; reconstruct committee-specific loans from the row-level file before making a final loan-balance claim.
